This can help to settle the strands of hair that pop out especially if you have a layered or a step cut style. The roller brush method works especially well on medium layered hair.

You can also check out the chemists and look over the hair product ranges afresh.  A lot of hair colour and other new styling products have been introduced in the market.  Coloured gels and products from copper to silver are in vogue especially if you are heading for a party.  For hair gloss and sheen try hair sprays that are specially composed to suit the need of a particular type of hair.

In India, we are really fond of long hair but managing long hair especially in summers become very difficult. However, women do not want to usually go for short hair cuts. Hence, the best option is medium length hair. This length of hair is easy to maintain, looks good and adds definition to your face when styled and cut properly.

People, who love layers, can have a medium length hairstyle with graduating layers. Today, most girls in most parlors want graduating layers. This is because they look really good on most face cuts. Also, there is nothing like coloring some of the streaks in a layered hairstyle. This accentuates your look like nobody. However, remember that you need to style your hair well before going to work or even before party. Hence, after shampooing your hair and conditioning it, blow-dry your hair (try to use a diffuser attachment). The best is to let your hair dry naturally but you can use a blow drier. Also, use a styling detangler to set your hair.

 Another style that can be experimented with is a straight shoulder length hairstyle with layering around the perimeter of the hair. Here one needs a slightly longer bang that will add definition to the face. The hair also needs to be textured. The layers in the hair need to be soft so that they frame the face cut properly. Many people prefer razoring or slightly chipping the ends of the hair for style. This too looks trendy and creative. A light styling product can be applied to the hair after a wash. While blow-drying the hair, comb your hair towards the face so as to accentuate the layers.
